You've seen the JESSE MARSH version!
You've seen the FRANK THORNE version!
Now-- bear wild-eyed witness to the wonder of the JACK KIRBY version!!!
Okay, okay... this isn't your typical, normal, average, "regular" adaptation of a movie. Let's put it this way... NOT BRAND ECHH wasn't an accident.
Charlton's take-off on EC's MAD started life as EH! (Dec'53). With issue #8 (Feb'55), the name was changed to FROM HERE TO INSANITY, then after 5 more issues, the name was changed again (while starting the number over from #1) to CRAZY, MAN, CRAZY!, which itself only lasted 2 issues. Each issue (as far as I've been able to determine so far) featured the work of 1 or 2 artists at a time, including Dick Ayers, Steve Ditko, and Jack Kirby. MANY years later, CRAZY would become Marvel Comics' own take-off on MAD.

And now, as a bonus, from the same issue... this has nothing to do with 20,000 LEAGUES, but, where else am I gonna post it? Enjoy...
