(Continued from Poe 1975, Pt.10)
"MAN OF THE CROWD"
2 months and 1 issue after Warren did an all-POE issue of CREEPY, they did another one, making for a total of 13 POE stories in only 5 months from them! It blows my mind to think that in all the years I've been a fan of Warren's
output, I was never aware of these issues-- and never had them in my
collection. Well, at least thanks to the internet, I have finally been
able to read their contents-- and, share them with whoever is reading
2nd in line in CREEPY #70 is the uncoventional...
"MAN OF THE CROWD".
This was the 2nd version of this, following Skywald's PSYCHO #23 (Jan'75),
only 3 months earlier!
The artist this time is Luis Bermejo. He did a lot of work for Warren, but I most fondly remember him as the original artist on THE ROOK. This would be his 1st of 2 POE adaptations.
Which brings us up to the 16th out of 25 Warren POE adaptations!!
