TDCC only did 2 Poe adaptations.  The first was the perrennial mystery-adventure tale...

"THE GOLD BUG"

     This was the 6th comics version of this story, following...
Manuel Lainez' TIT-BITS #1991 (Aug'47),
David C. Cook's SUNDAY PIX #1-14 (May 1-July 31, 1949),
Gilberton's CLASSICS ILLUSTRATED #84 (Jun'51), 
Boy Scouts Of America's BOYS' LIFE (Jul'54), and
Empresa Nacional's CAVALEIRO ANDANTE #453 (Sep'60)
     .....the last one 14 months earlier.

As of 7-22-2018, I have not been able to determine who the writer or artist were on this book.  Any help in that area would be appreciated!

"THE GOLD BUG" was one of the very few stories in this series that was reprinted.  When they did, the print quality of the linework deteriorated, a common problem even in the USA.  On the other hand, they replaced the original cover with a new variation of it.
