"EL GATO NEGRO"

Ibero Mundial De Ediciones was the work of publisher & editor José María Arman Corbera, located in Barcelona, Spain, from 1959 to 1978. In their time they did romance, comedy, horror & science-fiction.
DOSSIER NEGRO was a B&W horror anthology in the style of Warren's CREEPY and others, which began in 1968.
Among its contents were at least 3 Poe adaptations. Second up:
"THE BLACK CAT"
The art is by Miguel Gomez Esteban. This was his 2nd of 2 POE stories.
Sometimes it's tricky to decide where to break a story up into 2 or 3 parts.
I usually try to find a spot where it feels like a natural "break" between chapters.
I think I did alright this time.

I ran across a horrific problem on 8 of the 35 story pages, in which a 2nd image was printed in gray. It took an insane amount of time & effort to tediously REMOVE all traces of this in Photoshop! Thanks to Clint Morgan at the EC Fan-Addict Club FB group, this phenomena known as "gas ghosting" was brought to my attention. Here's an article that describes it:
