I wasn't sure what this was when I ordered it.  Golden Books had done countless illustrated children's books over the years, and I had several of them when I was young.  This turned out to not be one of those.  Instead, it was a book containing the full text of the original stories, with a few illustrations added.  There are MANY such books of Poe out there.  Between the format and the size of the lettering, I wound up reading this entire book cover-to-cover, when I was at doctors' appointments or having my car worked on... and enjoyed it immensely.

I've been adding the individual illustrations to various galleries around the blog project connected with the related stories.  But here, I'm putting up the entire collection of art.
