That reminds me a lot of ...Check out December 1958. That reminds me a lot of early Gil Kane (and I have no knowledge of his ever working for Johnstone & Cushing). Several people have said they can't recognize anything of Lou Fine's work in these, and I suspect it's because he's watered down his style to a "generic J&C" house-style. It's difficult to know how many people worked for them, or may have worked on this.<br /><br />The thing is, somehow, George Evans (and later, Alden McWilliams) did manage to maintain their individual styles, despite working for J&C. I have a strong suspicion that the "Chip Martin College Reporter" ads for Bell Telephone may be Neal Adams' work. The "Fun With Science" page I posted from Aug 1962 certainly looks like Adams' work to me. But how can one be sure, if you have a whole stable of artists trying to draw the same?<br /><br />Anyone who can add or verify info, the help would be appreciated.Henry R. I believe all the art on these strips is by George Evans, rather than Lou Fine.
