Poe 1948, Pt. 5

(Continued from Poe 1948, Pt. 4)

LE AVENTURES DE GORDON PYM
(IN COLOR  w/ English Translation  /  Part 4)

Collection LeRuban Rouge is an imprint of Librairie Arthème Fayard in France.

In 1948, apparently, they published the very first heavily-illustrated story book version of Edgar Allan Poe's only novel...

"THE NARRATIVE OF ARTHUR GORDON PYM OF NANTUCKET"

This book is longer than any other single story I've set up in this project.  Which is why I'm posting MORE story pages per blog page than usual.

As we pick up the narrative, things go from really, really bad... to WORSE.

ENJOY!  --if you can.
